Ride, sleep and repeat
Commissioned by Nils's sponsors, the goal was simple on paper and demanding in execution: create something that visually hits hard and captures the world of a young German motocross talent. Two deliverables — a short film and a documentary.
This project was built almost entirely in production and post-production. We handled the script, the shoot, and then went deep in post: 2D animation, stop motion, and mixed media animation — combining photos, different visual textures, and formats, worked frame by frame to build sequences that felt raw and kinetic rather than polished and generic. Sound design, original music, and color grading rounded out the post-production work, giving both the short film and the documentary their own distinct rhythm and texture.
