Wattier.studio is a collective of creatives, filmmakers, photographers, designers, strategists, spread between Switzerland, France and Germany, but always moving where the work takes us. We're not a big agency, and we don't want to be. We're a group of people who care about the same thing: making things that feel real, not just things that look good. Here's who we are.
Allan - Creative & Storyteller
He arrived in Germany six years ago with a Swiss-French passport and a camera he hasn't put down since. He moves between creative direction, filmmaking, and post-production. What he is best at ? he will make you feel something you weren't expecting to feel. He is not interested in perfect but chase the moment just before and just after the obvious one. After six years in Germany, he finally admitted that German bread is better than French bread. It was not easy.
Barnabé - Dev & Web designer
Born in the middle of the French Alps, he did what most creatives eventually do, he got lost in Paris and never really found his way back.We call him the engineer of the creative house, he builds software and apps the way the rest of us make films, with a clear vision and zero interest in doing it like everyone else.
Charles Simon - 3D designer / art direction
Grew up in France, at the foot of the Alps. Charles Spent enough time around mountains that nature became his reference of what "good" looks like. He's a CGI designer and art director, and to be honest, he is just making things look right, light, material, shape, all working together. A lot of that comes from nature. He's not copying it, just borrowing its balance in everything he Create.
Julian - DoP & Architect Photographer
Julian Started at 15 shooting skate videos with his friends. Nobody told him that was cinematography. He figured it out anyway. Studied photography near Stuttgart, ended up creative lead at a studio, somehow started shooting Aston Martins and Porsches. Not bad for a kid with a skate camera. Julian find the beauty where nobody else is looking.
Christian - Photographer
He was born and raised in Germany, studied photography, then moved to Paris. He stayed long enough to make it his basecamp and his obsession. He shoots fashion, cars and portraits. Years in fashion will do something to your eye, it gets sharper, You start seeing things other people walk past. That's where Christian lives.
Max Andor - Gaffer / Fashion photographer
Started out as a nurse, then found his real language: light. Arranges everything symmetrically, loves Giotto with Neapolitan flavor, and turns fashion photography into more than a hobby. Here's the truth, without light there's no image, and without Max, nothing we shoot looks the way it does. Watch him work and it looks easy, bouncing light, diffusing it, making it hard or soft. It's not. He handles the light. We just make sure the shot is worth it.
